Valor Medical is always looking for self-motivated individuals to support and learn from our fast-growing foot and ankle team!
Internship Program Length: 4 – 6 months.
- Internship Starts in February & July of every year.
- Opportunities in two territories – Northern Virginia/Washington DC & Baltimore/Surrounding Counties Maryland
Ideal candidate will be in their last year of college or recently graduated and interested in the OR medical device industry. Major in health sciences or business preferred. Possible Associate Sales Representative position available post internship!

What You Will Do
- The Foot & Ankle/Trauma intern will partner closely with Associate Sales Representative(s) in the area to quickly learn the medical device industry and Foot & Ankle/Trauma business, and then contribute to the growth of that business in the assigned territory. He/she will partner with the Associate Sales Rep(s) in all aspects of the sales call pattern, including but not limited to, marketing and promotion of the products in the assigned accounts, building of sets, managing inventory.
- Work with sales teams to contact customers in order to identify sales opportunities, deliver excellent customer service, and further develop the customer relationship.
- Identify the needs of new prospects, in conjunction with the assigned Associate Sales Representative, and develop appropriate responses.
- Serve as the primary backup contact for Associate Sales Representative(s). Acquire a basic understanding of the field to include regulatory compliance issues and adhere to these guidelines.
- Partner with Associate Sales Rep(s) on inventory management and building of proper inventory levels and sets to meet customer needs.
- Consistently adhere to compliance and the principles of responsibility by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization.
What You Need

- Must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and be able to drive an automobile.
